Caritas Hellas is launching a campaign to renovate and upgrade its Social Center in Neos Kosmos, Athens. The project aims to create a safe, accessible and welcoming space that will strengthen services in employment support, education, accommodation and social inclusion, providing greater opportunities and meaningful support to individuals and families who need it most.
Action Short Description
Caritas Hellas is launching a renovation campaign for its Social Spot in Neos Kosmos, Athens, a space already dedicated to care, inclusion and social support.
The building currently hosts the Caritas Hellas Employability Center, provides temporary accommodation for vulnerable families and volunteers, and supports a range of community activities. However, significant renovation and functional upgrades are needed to ensure that the space is safe, accessible and welcoming for everyone who uses it.
The renovation will improve the building’s electrical and safety systems, accessibility, shared spaces and overall functionality, while creating better facilities for employment support, counselling, educational activities, volunteering, community events and social inclusion programmes.
With the support of donors and partners, we aim to transform the building into a safe and welcoming home for the community — a place where people can find support, learn, connect, contribute and build new opportunities for the future.
