Action Short Description
ESTIA aims to continuously provide the conditions and the infrastructure so that our members with disabilities may fulfill their dreams throughout their life, both inside the ‘village’ and in local society. To this end, we welcome the financial support by individuals and organizations. Our primary aim is the construction of ‘Agapi’ (Love), our fifth home, which will house new persons with and without disabilities, as well as provide more living and occupational choices to each of it the community members.
Short Description of Institute
Estia Agios Nikolaos is an internationally recognized life-sharing community, where adults with intellectual -developmental disabilities and their caregivers live, create and evolve together. Since its inception in Galaxidi 30 years ago, ESTIA is the only inclusion -centred community in Greece and is a model of equality, governance and extroversion, with growing impact locally and internationally.
