Our first participation in the #GivingTuesday2023 initiative is aimed at supporting the unaccompanied minors of the "Anatoli" Shelter for Unaccompanied Minors and buying Christmas gifts for the 40 children of the shelter.

Christmas is coming, and in the Western world children are used to receiving gifts from parents, relatives and friends.
The reality is different for many children, as well as for unaccompanied children residing in Shelters for Unaccompanied Minors, who are in Greece in a context different from that of family.
At Medin we care for unaccompanied minors aged 12-17, providing shelter, food, psychosocial, medical, legal and educational support.

In a world where there still are inequalities, injustice and violence, the defense of the self-evident, the right to Life and Dignity, is an imperative and an obligation for all of us.
Our central goal is to help address basic survival problems such as housing, feeding and medical care for individuals and groups in need.
At the moment, we operate a shelter for unaccompanied children in Athens, supporting their stay in collaboration with psychosocial, educational, nursing staff and lawyer.
